Theatre & Stage reviews by SalsaChicago.com critic Al Bresloff

"A Trilogy of One Acts"

The Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs will present Pintig Cultural Group's "A Trilogy of One Acts" based on three popular short stories by Bienvenido Santos. These one act plays are written to celebrate the rich history and culture of the Filipino Community through art. These plays have been adapted by Larry Leopoldo and Narcisco Lobo is the director. The theme that runs through all of these stories is dinner invitations. Performances will take place in the Studio Theater in The Cultural Center located at 77 E. Randolph Street from May 19th through June 18th, as follows: Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. Sunday at 3 p.m.

Tickets are $12 ($10 for student and seniors) and can be reserved by calling 773-973-1521. Each performance will be followed by a discussion group with the cast.
