Fiesta Boricua September
4, 2005
Fiesta
Boricua 2005 came and went with all of the pizzazz
that Chicago's Hispanic community was expecting. Tens
of thousands of Chicagoans from every ethnic group
came out to celebrate.
Eddie
Palmeiri was the headliner and closed things out with
a tremendous rendition of his old favorites. Cano
Estremera also wowed the crowd with his incredible
vocals.
Some
of the local bands that performed included La Unica
and Orquesta Sabor.
Chicagoans
came out to celebrate with the vibrant Puerto Rican
community and they were all dancing in the streets.
